...sufferin' from th'fact they arrived early on th'scene as some yanquee answer to th'fabs they never shook off bein' some kinda teenybop combo...when it came to gettin' with th'new music that was happ'nin in 66/67 they weren't taken seriously by th'underground 'n their original fans had moved on to other concerns...this disk was hyped as a concept, no doubt gettin' that idea from pepper, its a cool orchestrated folky psych biscuit that needs a few spins 'n works a real boffo treat on th' ol' headphones...
